Help needed for community orchards winter work weekend (Image: submitted)
CLIMATE Action Ilkley will be undertaking their annual winter pruning, weeding and mulching in the community orchards this weekend.
Please join them to help maintain these lovely fruit trees and spaces; no experience is necessary and all are welcome.
Work will start at 10am on Saturday, March 2 in Ben Rhydding orchard, on the playing field on Wheatley Lane, behind the Esso garage and at 10am on Sunday, March 3 in Ilkley orchard, next to the skate park on East Holmes field.
Bring gloves and any tools eg spades, shovels, buckets and wheelbarrows if you can.
